The following Terms & Conditions apply to all Northern Beaches Coworking members.

1. About Northern Beaches Coworking

Northern Beaches Coworking is a business name operated under ABN 60 368 962 309. Our coworking spaces are located within Better Tuition Academy premises across Sydney's Northern Beaches and North Shore.

2. Membership and Credits

We offer the following plans:

• Rolling Monthly Membership ($429/month): Unlimited visits for the billing month. Auto-renews monthly. This is a no-lock-in plan: you may cancel at any time by contacting us, your current billing period runs to completion, and you will not be charged again.
• Fixed-Term Membership (6-month or 12-month): A committed membership for a set term of either 6 or 12 months, offered at a reduced rate in exchange for the longer commitment. Fixed-Term Memberships may be paid in full upfront or by an agreed instalment schedule. By signing up to a Fixed-Term Membership you commit to, and remain liable for, the full term selected, regardless of how often you use the space. The applicable term, rate and payment schedule are those set out in your membership confirmation. Unless renewed or cancelled with at least 14 days' written notice before the term ends, a Fixed-Term Membership will convert to a Rolling Monthly Membership at the standard monthly rate at the end of the term.
• Casual Visit Packs: Available in 5-visit ($225), 20-visit ($860), and 50-visit ($2,000) packs. Credits expire 6 months from the date of purchase. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

There is no single day pass. The minimum casual purchase is a 5-visit pack.

Access to the space is subject to availability and desk capacity at each location. A membership does not guarantee a reserved or exclusive desk unless explicitly stated.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

Casual credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Unused credits that have reached their expiry date cannot be redeemed, extended, or refunded under any circumstances, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law.

Rolling Monthly Memberships may be cancelled at any time by contacting us. The current billing period will run to its natural end date, and you will not be charged for any subsequent period. No partial-month refunds are available.

Fixed-Term Memberships (6-month and 12-month) are non-refundable. Because these plans are offered at a discounted rate in return for a fixed commitment, fees already paid will not be refunded, and any unpaid balance for the remainder of the term remains payable, if you choose to stop using the space, cancel early, or your circumstances change (including travel, relocation, illness, or changes to your work or business).

Where you have paid upfront at a discounted fixed-term rate, that discount is conditional on completing the full term, and early termination forfeits the discount.

We may, at our sole discretion, agree to an early release from a Fixed-Term Membership, which may be subject to an administration fee and/or repayment of any discount received. Any such early release must be confirmed by us in writing.

If a verified technical fault on our part (such as a lock or building-access failure) prevents you from accessing the space on a day you have checked in, we will credit one visit to your account. This is your sole remedy for access failures caused by our systems.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the space, and temporary interruptions (including internet, power, or building access issues) do not entitle you to refunds or additional credits, except as expressly stated.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

4. Access and Security

Access to all Northern Beaches Coworking locations is managed through an in-person induction. Once you have completed your induction, you will be given access details for your chosen location(s). Standard access hours are 5am to 3pm on weekdays, and all day on Sundays.

You must not share your access details or account credentials with any other person. Each member's access is personal to them and is your responsibility. Sharing access is a breach of these terms and may result in immediate membership termination without refund.

You must be a registered member to access our spaces. Identity verification is done in person during your induction - we take a photo of your government-issued photo ID (driver's licence or passport) for our records. Your ID photo is stored securely in our encrypted cloud storage (Microsoft OneDrive) and is only accessible by authorised NBCW staff. We retain this record for the duration of your membership and for up to 12 months after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at hello@northernbeachescoworking.com.au.

Access hours and availability may be amended from time to time for operational, safety, or business reasons.

5. Conduct and Use of Premises

You agree to use our spaces professionally and respectfully. The following are not permitted:

• Bringing guests without prior written arrangement
• Making loud phone calls or video meetings at your desk - step outside or to a quiet area
• Leaving food waste or failing to maintain cleanliness in your workspace
• Using the space for any illegal purpose
• Damaging equipment, furniture, or the premises
• Using the space as a registered business address or mailing address, unless you have a virtual office arrangement with us

Our spaces are quiet working environments. We reserve the right to ask any member to leave who is disrupting others, and to terminate accounts for repeated breaches without refund.

6. Liability

You use Northern Beaches Coworking spaces at your own risk. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings or equipment while on our premises. You are responsible for any damage you cause to our premises or equipment during your visit.

You are responsible for your own safety while using the premises and must take reasonable care when using all facilities.

Our liability to you is limited to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. CCTV and Security

All Northern Beaches Coworking locations are monitored by CCTV security cameras. Footage is stored securely and accessed only in the event of a security incident, damage, or other reasonable necessity. By using our spaces, you consent to being recorded on CCTV.

Our use of CCTV is disclosed in our Privacy Policy.

8. Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Where a material change is made, we will notify you by email and may require re-acceptance before your next check-in. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Nature of Service

Northern Beaches Coworking provides access to shared workspace facilities under a licence arrangement. Your use of the space does not create any lease, tenancy, or exclusive possession rights. We may allocate, reallocate, or restrict access to desks and areas at our discretion.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms, fail to make payment, misuse the space, or for operational reasons. Where possible, we will provide notice, but this may not always be practicable.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
